Twelfth Night

Twelfth Night is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare, set in the enchanting atmosphere of a Victorian Christmas. The story follows Viola, a young woman who, after being shipwrecked and separated from her twin brother, Sebastian, disguises herself as a man and enters the service of Duke Orsino. However, complications arise when Viola falls in love with Orsino, who is himself hopelessly in love with the beautiful Countess Olivia. When Olivia unexpectedly falls for Viola's male disguise, a tangled web of love, mistaken identities and misunderstandings begins to unfold.

Meanwhile, in Olivia's household, her mischievous uncle, Sir Toby Belch, joins forces with the foolish Sir Andrew Aguecheek and the witty maid Maria to play an elaborate trick on the pompous steward, Malvolio. Their festive mischief leads to a series of hilarious encounters, romantic confusion and unexpected consequences.

As the Christmas celebrations continue, the unexpected arrival of Viola's twin brother brings the confusion to a head. Mistaken identities are finally resolved, true identities revealed and love finds its way through the chaos, although not everyone receives the happy ending they had hoped for.
